+++ Henri (Nee Gretchen Hillis) was elected to succeed the late +++Jacob in September 2022.  She was ordained into the diaconate in August 2008 and served as Archdeacon for the Anglican Church USA. In May 2017 she continued her ministry with the Nicene Church, serving as Archdeacon and Chancellor.  She was ordained a priest in March 2019 and consecrated bishop in May 2022. 

In addition to serving as Patriarch, she teaches an alternative behavior class in an elementary school, is raising 2 adopted daughters, and enjoys spending time at the beach.
